A micro-village is an intentional community of private homes clustered around shared space. Also known as a "Pocket Neighborhood" each family has their own space, but also has shared space optimized toward interactions with neighbors. At The Commons, every living area is private, with a mix of shared indoor and outdoor spaces.
We have not developed a structure for that yet, but we are working toward creating a way for interested families to have ownership in the property and build equity while living here.
Nope! Anyone who shares our general community values is welcome. We know that there are seasons for everything–we expect people to come and go as life circumstances change. Living in community can seem pretty radical though, and we deeply desire to live in such a way that people see something different about how we care for each other here!
